Blindsgalore Gallery Cellular Shades: Light Filtering

Light-filtering cellular shades from Blindsgalore provide privacy and energy efficiency while adding a touch of style to your home.

Features & Benefits

This light-filtering shade provides basic privacy; vague images and shapes in a lit room may be seen through the shade at night, but details are not visible.
Insulating materials: 1/2″ double cell has an R-value of 4.55; 3/4″ & 9/16″ single cell has an R-value of 4.17.
Cellular shades stack up neatly when fully raised, taking up less space than traditional blinds.
Double-cell fabrics will generally filter more light and offer more insulation than single-cell fabrics. Single-cell shades typically weigh less and are available in larger sizes. For larger windows, cellular shades with larger pleats can provide a more modern and streamlined look.

Materials

Made from 100% polyester spunlace.
Fabric is white on the street side.
Superior pleat retention and color uniformity.
Aluminum headrail is rust resistant and color coordinated to selected fabric.
Darker colors significantly dim light entering the room.
All mounting hardware included.

Control Options

Cordless lift is a safe and convenient way to operate cellular shades, especially for homes with children or pets.

Motorized Lift

Single Channel Remote: White remote that operates an individual shade or group of multiple shades simultaneously.
Choose to power your motorized shades with either a rechargeable external battery pack or 12V DC Plug-In Transformer.

The rechargeable external battery pack comes separately from the shade and should be mounted in the window frame with the included mounting clip.
Note: Rechargeable battery pack ship at 30% charge and must be fully charged prior to installation.
12V DC Plug-In Transformer needs to be plugged into an outlet. Standard power cord is 72" long. 96" extension cord is available.
Note: Plug-In dimension: 3 1/4" W x 2" D x 1 1/2" H

Home automation: These motors are Z-Wave ready, meaning the motor can be easily paired to existing home automation systems and controlled with your favorite voice assistant.

Cleaning

Regular dusting and gentle vacuuming maintain a like-new appearance for these shades.

Our factory will make the following adjustments:

For inside mount: the total shade width will be 3/16″ less than the ordered width. The fabric deduction will be 3/8″ less than the ordered width. Do not adjust your measurements based on the inside mount deductions. Doing so may result in your shade not fitting.
For outside mount: the shade will be the ordered width. The fabric deduction will be 3/8″ less than the ordered width.
The height of the product will be slightly longer than ordered to allow pleats to hang freely and not sag, which is considered normal and will not affect the operation of your shade.

We are in love. This is an amazing blind. It’s very well made, sturdy, the color is beautiful. There is nothing I would change. The cordless feature is great, I’m very happy with that choice. We’ve had many compliments and inquiries about them in the last few days. I also need to praise the customer service I’ve received, as my blinds were lost in transit. Blindsgalore sent me a replacement without fuss. Even though it took a bit for them to get here, it was worth the wait. I have no regrets, I’ve already helped my mother order 4 blinds for her house. read more

These were a real online shopping win. Needed some window treatments, saw a great sale, ordered a colour (SIGHT UNSEEN...real gamble! hah), and they were handmade, crossed a border, and were on my doorstep in under a week! Sometimes online shopping is truly like magic. The Flemish blue is lovely, I installed them easily. I appreciate the little plastic handles to open and close with, keeps the bottom rail from getting dirty. Oh, and I ordered with a 40% off sale. A couple days later a 45% sale started and they credited me the difference. read more
